Purchasing Coordinator

The Purchasing Coordinator is responsible for providing administrative/ clerical support. The Purchasing Coordinator is also responsible for the daily workload including following up with vendors, quoting products, filling and packaging of invoices for submission to Finance. Data entry of assets in the company asset management database.



Job Responsibilities/Duties

  • Facilities Purchasing Coordinator will adhere to the company's policy and procedures for all company purchases.
  • Communicate with vendors to resolve order discrepancies, back orders, shipping issues. Perform (RFQ's) and pricing verification to ensure the most cost-effective decision is made with any and all internal procurement requests.
  • Administration and management of the OfficeMax company account. Including setup and modification of approver and department end users.
  • Daily troubleshooting of account issues with our internal customers.
  • Reconciliation and allocation of bimonthly invoices back to the designated cost centers.
  • Receives, acknowledges, and resolves purchasing related help desk tickets.
  • Maintains Service Level Agreements (SLAs) and ensures that they are met or exceeded 95% of the time.
  • Additional duties may include but are not limited to the management of vendor contracts and project management.


Qualifications

Minimum Education: High School Diploma or equivalent. 

Minimum Experience:  Professional appearance and demeanor. Basic computer skills in MS Word and MS Excel.
